LO3: D1

I used a tripod for this image to capture a light trail and a starburst the effect came out really well I used the lowest possible shutter speed to allow as much light as possible to enter the lens creating these effects Which make the shot look that ever bit more beautiful. these camera settings allowed me to create the starburst and light trails. I used a tripod to keep the camera steady and a low aperture to make the image sharp but this would be a good way to take images for sport as I the images would come out blurry as there is lost of motion so it would just be better to use fast shutter speed and low aperture to create really sharp images.

In this image I used a tripod to keep the camera steady to avoid any blur I also used a low shutter speed to get these light trails but the reason I took this image was to show how it leads you in with the road lines and how there are arrows that you have to follow which draw you into the images and this is a very effective way of getting someone to notice your image.

With this image I used golden ratio this is because the subject of the image is towards the right and in my picture is it slightly to the right making it golden ratio this is a good technique as it shows the beauty of the cathedral and the markets road sign makes this image robust as it shows Doncaster as not this perfect place but still houses a magnificent cathedral and the light streaks make the image even better as it contrast with the greenery in the image also you can confirm that the image is sharp because of how clear the road sign is. This image also used a very low shutter speed this allows the camera to take in as much light as possible creating streaks if light and also making the cathedral look alot bright as lots of light enters the lens.

With this image it is a good shot this is because of the corner it was taken from as this image shows to diverging paths both with different barriers and you could potential link it with paths in like one is safe and the other is risky. All though this is taken at a corner point it still shows an amazing view of the lake and the trees around it. This image has a low aperture and because of this it make the image really sharp and clear I also had more sharpness in adobe Lightroom to make it more clear, as you can see the image is very sharp and not blurry.

All of the images that are here have a lot shutter speed this allows the light trails to be created the way I focused the image was by using the manual focus knob this allowed me to get the images as sharp as possible and the reason there is no blur is because i had the camera on a tripod to allow it to stay as steady as possible.

With this image the way I achieved is was by using a fast shutter speed high aperture and Manual focus this allowed me to make the water droplets really sharp and because of the fast shutter speed you can see each droplet as it doesn't let in much light. these camera settings are usefully for high paced and most motion images as it is a really sharp image and capture the droplets the settings I used were a low aperture and high shutter speed although I used a high the aperture the back is blurry this is because I added manual blur as I preferred the look as it make the the water stand out more and seem a lot sharper as it contrast with the blurry background.

Evaluation

For morning shots you should have a fast shutter speed this means that enough light will get to the lens and that it won't be over exposed for night photography it would be better to use a lower shutter speed this is because it will allow more light in and stopping it from being underexposed also by using a low shutter speed at night it can create light streaks if cars go past the camera although the camera has to be completely steady during a low shutter speed shot as it will be blurry if moved at all for high action or sport photography a fast shutter speed and low aperture would be better as it would make the image really sharp and clear.
