LO1: M1 Photographs

 


This image is a building in Paris I had taken this image because I though the landscape looked incredible my inspiration for this photo was all the city skyline images I had seen before I wanted to replicate that with my own style of photography as Ive always been interested in taking stylistic photos.


This image is of a statue outside a hotel in Antalya Turkey I had taken this image as the light of the bright sky behind the image contrast with all the darkness with I believe it gave it a nice atmosphere and made the image look a lot nicer that it would have been if the entire image was bright. 

This image was taken in Paris on top of the Eifell tower I took this image as the land beneath as symmetrical and because of that I though I would look incredible. because of the sun being behind a cloud it loos like an exploding star. all of the jet streams created by the aircrafts. My inspiration is a photographer name Charlie Waite he is a landscape photographer and I want to replicate his style of photography but with a bit of a twist with urban photography and this was my product.

This is an image I had taken with my iPhone at a waterfall in Turkey I edited this image in a free editing software to give the hazy look to make it seem like steam. I really like the end product as the haziness gives the image an authentic look and makes it seem like you could be there because of the realism.


This image is taken a camp in the Egyptian dessert I believe this is a great image as you can see the colour of the sun as it is setting and I believe that because of the people there it give the image a great atmosphere as it make it seem like everyone there is in harmony 




This image was taken on an iPhone and I tried to mimic a slow shutter speed image and I think the image. came out pretty decent considering I used a fast shutter speed with an iPhone
This image is taken on the roof of a building in Sheffield A person was on top and I decided to take an image it is kind of like a land scape image but with a person there and the colours of the building and sky really compliment each other as the sky is really bright and the colours of the building is a dark tone

I really like this image as it uses leading lines

This image of the was taken when I had gone Paris on a school trio I had taken and image with people as it  showed an aspect of Paris and how it is a massive tourist destination and I believe that my image conveys that.



Images that inspire me-

This was the image that inspired me to take the give-way image this is because it shows something random but it gives it a good look and makes it seem really interesting as it give another take on the landscape image. I really enjoy the highly saturated colours in this image they make the subject pop because the deep blue sky and the bright red sand contrast incredibly well.

I really enjoy taking images of a landscape and this is why I had taken many landscape images as I love the way they look and make the image take life and gives them atmosphere. the colours are great this is because the sky is getting darker and the lights in the city are Turing on give the city night life vibe and this make the image look like its alive.

I really enjoy slow shutter speed images I think they give an amazing outcome because I love the way the light leaves beams of light. the dark blue sky contrast with amber/yellow train lights giving an incredible image because is low shutter speed it shows the inside of the train slightly and this look is incredible as the train is in low opacity so it the image still looks full.

Editing areas of high and low exposure by using clipping  Clipping key (J) Before:  After: The edits i made on this image are quiet eye catching first of all i lowered the exposure of the image to make the light trail and starburt stand out this is rather effective as in the uneditted image they look rather drowed out. I also edited the sky by just making the saturation higher and this makes the sky look beautiful as it show amazing colours and you can tell that this image was taken at sunset because of the sky. This image uses leading lines in this angle which is very good as it it leads you into the image  this a good photography viewpoint as it shows a lot of and it on corner which has multiple leading lines which is good I used a lower aperture to make the image as sharp as possible and used the manual focus until I believed I got it as sharp as possible and these factors make the image pop out as much as possible. The two images above use golden ration this means that the subject in the image is slightly towards the left or right this is a good technique to carry out In my pictures. there are also moving objects in my image this is noticeable by the light streaks in the image as these were created by moving vehicles you can identify that the image is clear and sharp as the road sign is very clear and sharp The image above uses depth of field to give the image a better look I used a low aperture and a telephoto lens to create one part of the image really detailed and sharp and the back...

  I used a tripod for this image to capture a light trail and a starburst the effect came out really well I used the lowest possible shutter speed to allow as much light as possible to enter the lens creating these effects Which make the shot look that ever bit more beautiful. these camera settings allowed me to create the starburst and light trails. I used a tripod to keep the camera steady and a low aperture to make the image sharp but this would be a good way to take images for sport as I the images would come out blurry as there is lost of motion so it would just be better to use fast shutter speed and low aperture to create really sharp images.
